Wayne Rooney could be used as makeweight in Manchester United's attempts to land Everton star Romelu Lukaku.
United skipper Rooney could leave Old Trafford this summer after seeing his game-time dramatically cut short this term.
The Daily Mail claim he has accepted his Red Devils career is all but over and Jose Mourinho is willing to let him rejoin boyhood club Everton.
And the Special One is looking to use Rooney in part-exchange to snap up top-target Lukaku.
Barcelona will reportedly launch a move for Marcos Alonso this summer.
Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claim the La Liga giants are keen on Chelsea's 26-year-old defender.
Alonso's father enjoyed a fine career with Barca and he would love to see his son play at the Nou Camp at some point in his career.
Alonso has been hugely impressive for Antonio Conte's Premier League winners this term, excelling in the wing-back role.
Reported Liverpool target Ben Gibson could ignore interest from the Premier League giants and stay at Middlesbrough this summer.
Boro caretaker boss Steve Agnew said: "I don’t think it is inevitable Ben will leave.
"He signed a new five-year contract during the season and had an amazing year.
"He is determined to stay and see Boro back into the Premier League."
